Distraction and Uncertainty in the Information Age.
The Information Age offers access to boundless knowledge, but it also brings constant digital noise and fractured truths. How do we maintain focus in a world that fragments and monetizes human attention? How do we evaluate what is true as authority shifts from journalists, medical doctors, and academics to search engine algorithms? This is an inherently interdisciplinary problem, requiring thought leaders from every walk of life. The lecture series will feature speakers across campus to explore how we navigate a world filled with shifting media landscapes and endless interruptions.
